Natasha M. Nazareth

The law can be incredibly complex and I work to offer my clients principled advice and practical strategies that are

tailor-made for their unique legal challenges.

My guiding principles are service, simplicity and satisfaction. Whether you hire me to explore new ventures, resolve a conflict, or optimize your operations, I will quickly build a relationship with you, listen carefully, and understand your needs as an organization, family or individual.

Providing advice to businesses in the full range of challenges is what I have always considered a strength. I enjoy assisting clients with labor and employment issues, contracts, risk management, regulatory compliance, non-profit and tax-exempt law, governance, bylaws and board policies.

Natasha enjoys sharing her practical insights into the law: she has written a strategic perspectives article for Wolters Kluwer, teaches seminars for clients and attorneys, and currently serves as the Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Maryland Bar Journal.

I am particularly passionate about investing in high-quality schools that prepare diverse students for their 21st century global future. I appreciate the business of education and the people who make a daily difference in the lives of young people. In the past I have been General Counsel to a University of North Carolina system campus and the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, where I also led HR and the learning support program. I continue to provide general counsel services to a variety of large and small independent schools, and I also serve individual families, students and faculty/staff to assert their rights in public and private schools and universities.

Read a recent article in the Maryland State Bar Journal to learn more about my practice. If you have education, business or employment questions or concerns, please contact me. I would be delighted to meet with you and discuss how I can serve you.

Natasha demonstrates the highest degree of integrity, professionalism and care with her counsel. Her knowledge, connectivity and solution-focused approach to problem solving lead me to confidently recommend her work to others.”
