Elyse L. Strickland

I maintain a practical approach to resolving conflicts and I work to help my clients manage risks and achieve effective and sensible solutions to their legal challenges. In my time as a family law attorney, I have handled a wide variety of cases including legal issues such as business valuation, property distribution, alimony, child support, custody and visitation. I am trained as a family law mediator and collaborative lawyer and certified as a “best interest” attorney.

As a commercial litigator, I have represented an array of business clients, from individuals to publicly traded corporations and small business entities. My extensive litigation experience has included issues such as shareholder disputes; breach of contract cases; construction litigation; and employment litigation, including the enforceability of non-compete provisions, non-solicitation provisions and trade secrets.

I am also well-known in the “factoring industry” as a result of my years of practice in representing companies who purchase payment streams, such as structured settlement payments and lottery winnings.
