McMillan Metro P.C. attorney Natasha Nazareth presented at a webinar hosted by the Inclusion Allies Coalition (IAC). This webinar, which took place Thursday October 14, 2021, focused on ensuring a safe, inclusive workplace experience for employees who are returning to the workplace as the Covid-19 pandemic begins to decline.
Recent studies suggest that some 43 percent of American employees question whether it’s safe or wise to return to the workplace, and it’s estimated that a staggering 3.6 million people have resigned from their jobs during the pandemic. Employees face the challenge of dealing with further fallout from what’s being dubbed the “Great Resignation” that has resulted from concerns over Covid-19.
Natasha discussed employment law considerations and employer obligations to protect their employees’ rights, safety, and well-being, while safeguarding their business as employees return to work. Other panelists discussed how to retain employees while keeping them productive, motivated and safe.
The IAC is a coalition of organizations and practitioners committed to diversity, equity and inclusion within our organizations and society.
