McMillan Metro, P.C. Announces Military Law Practice Area

McMillan Metro, P.C. is pleased to announce that we will now be offering services of an attorney with a long career of experience in Military Law matters. For over 25 years, Larry N. Burch, Partner with McMillan Metro has been helping members of the military, their spouses, retirees and dependents with legal issues unique to military law as well as civilian legal issues confronting military service members and their dependents.

Military service members face highly complex legal issues that can have a profound impact on their career. A simple arrest or accusation of misconduct can ruin a long career. Military service members face greater scrutiny to maintain their career than other professionals. Seemingly minor mistakes can lead to a command investigation or even charges or military discipline putting your military (or uniform services) career at stake.

As a JAG Corps Officer and as a civilian lawyer, Larry Burch has represented military service members, retirees, dependents and uniform service members in a variety of civilian and military hearings; including, Boards of Inquiry, Administrative Discharge Boards, Non-Judicial Punishment hearings, Physical Evaluation Boards, command investigations, medical credentials hearings, Security Clearance investigations as well as representing military members (and their dependents) in civilian court hearings. Larry Burch represents service members with complex issues from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard as well as the Public Health Service, NOAA, and Reservists in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In addition, he represents military families dealing with divorce and separation in the civilian courts.

With ample experience navigating the military justice system, a military background, and admissions in the local and federal courts (including the U.S. Supreme Court) as well as the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF), Larry Burch and the team of professionals at McMillan Metro are ready to help you find a solution to your military legal challenges and protect your rights at military and uniformed services hearings as well as in the civilian courts.
