Happy 10th Anniversaries to Jeremy and Taheya!
It’s hard to believe but Paralegals Taheya Cortez and Jeremy Hesselbein are both celebrating 10 years as part of the McMillan Metro family. We couldn’t be happier to congratulate these two hard-working colleagues for all they do for our clients and for the Firm.
Taheya joined our firm January 2, 2007 as a Legal Assistant. In 2011 she became a paralegal, at that time she supported our Estate Planning, Litigation and Family Law practices. Now she has found her passion in drafting documents for Estate Planning clients and is proud to be able to assist same-sex couples. In 2015 when the laws first changed, she felt proud to be part of the movement. During Taheya’s time with our firm she has enjoyed many life changes as she started her family, got married and purchased a home. She says that due to her stable nurturing environment at McMillan Metro she has grown a lot professionally and personally. We want to thank Taheya for her dedication over her first decade with us.
Jeremy came to McMillan Metro on February 20, 2007 as a part-time office assistant while attending the University of Baltimore. In January of 2009, Jeremy was promoted to a Legal Assistant providing direct support to Howard Metro. In December of that year, he graduated magna cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Over time, he evolved to the role of Executive Assistant and then to Corporate Paralegal. In 2016, Jeremy was accepted as a J.D. Candidate for the Class of 2020 at the University of Baltimore School of Law, so now we are looking forward to Jeremy’s continued service to our clients as a future attorney of the Firm. Please join us in congratulating him on his long list of varied and highly valued accomplishments!
