I have dealt personally with the challenges of elder care. I am here to listen first . . . and help.
When I was only in my twenties, my mother passed away unexpectedly and I was called on to serve as guardian of my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's and needed someone to make her financial and health care decisions. Those experiences inspired me to become a lawyer - to help people create the right estate plans for their families and prepare for the challenges of aging. I know firsthand how confusing and difficult it is to navigate probate when a loved one passes, to cope with Medicaid if a loved one moves into a nursing home, or to contend with guardianship if estate planning documents were not completed or cannot be found.
I lead with my heart and my extensive legal knowledge to help families address their estate planning, trust administration, probate, and elder law matters. Through the use of Living Trusts, Wills (simple & complex), Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Irrevocable Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships, and Charitable Gifting Strategies, I help families preserve their wealth for future generations by minimizing estate taxes and helping to avoid the expense and nightmare of probate.

Amy's legal expertise and personal experiences were immediately obvious to my wife and myself. The insights we gained working with Amy and our end of life documents proved to be quite beneficial in discussions with our daughter. The result is that when the time comes, our family will not be faced by unanswered questions, unresolved legal issues, and questions about what ‘we would have wanted’. We are very grateful to Amy for the peace of mind we now have, and for the grief our family will avoid in the future.” John and Claudia Craig
